Personalized Avatars in Sword Art

The players can personalize their avatars in the game while they play it. This is done with the help of 3D scanning. The player has to stand at a podium with his arms wide open in order to get scanned.

Your body gets involved in the game

As you equip yourself with the 3D gadgets and virtual reality suits your complete body gets involved in Sword Art animation. This is done with the help of various sensors attached in the suits so that you feel the character while playing the game.

Mix of cognitive science and cloud

IBM has been able to make this concept possible with the help of cognitive science. Cognitive science is related to mental process like memory, judgement and reasoning. IBM has been able to capture cognitive data in its cloud servers to make the concept of virtual reality possible in Sword Art.

IBM has no plans to produce a standalone game related to the popular animation. People will be able to experience the world of Sword Art only in the virtual reality arenas with the help of virtual reality suits.
